Week 4 - Expanding your Skill Set

 As we see rapid growth and development in technology, it is becoming increasingly important to diversify your skill sets when it comes to building a career. In recent years we have seen the job market shift to favoring skills in the digital realm such as, software development, data analysis, and digital marketing. That being said, the job market is constantly changing and evolving as new developments are made. Going forward, it is in our best interests as job candidates to continue to diversify our skill sets in order to stay adaptable to the job market. 

Being a job-seeker, you should take every opportunity available to diversify your skills. There are many online resources that you can use to build new skills. Some of these resources being, LinkedIn Learning, Udemy, and Skillshare. In addition to these platforms, you can also develop skills in artificial intelligence, web development, and graphic design through practice and online courses. Actively engaging with these opportunities allows you to learn new skills that expand your range of career paths.
